Traditional Distribution
Distribution is just the act of sharing an item or something among a differing number of recipients. Now in the 20th century, there are of course many different ways that a magazine company can distribute their product through out the world for their audiences. Compared to many years ago, magazines are distributed very differently than how they can be distributed out today. The traditional way to distribute was to do it through a physical copy of the magazine. Some examples would be by selling them on a stand on the streets of New York; by doing this, it will make the magazine easily accessible and someone can purchase it on their way to work or their way home. With just the price of a few dollars that you can insert into the machine, meaning no human interaction either, it makes it cheap and accessible. Additionally, the magazine can be put into a book store or grocery store. It would strive in a book store as people come in to find something to read. For my magazine, I would sell and distribute my magazine in a grocery store, as they do now. In the very front where you are about to cash out; you can see the magazines and be easily interested and buy them on the spot. That would be one way to physically distribute my magazine, and I believe it would be a success since thousands of people a day go to the grocery store.
